QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  1. Class A CDL with 2+ years on the road experience
  2. Complete  and pass medical examination
  3. In depth horse experience/knowledge
  4. Must be able to work in a fast pace environment
  5. Must be willing to go above and beyond set job duties
  6. Works well in a team environment

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

  1. Ability to operate and maintain all company vehicles and horse trailers
  2. Set appointments for services
  3. Pre-trips, emergency equipment, insurance, registration, etc.
  4. Supply load date to warehouse coordinator
  5. Check trailers before trips
  6. Pick and load truck with merchandise for sale at events
  7. Plot course of travel to and from events
  8. Ability to load and unload horses on trailer
  9. Reserve horse motels in route to and from events
  10. Ability to check and spot sicknesses and injuries with the horse and treat appropriately
  11. Unload trailer and help set up booth at events
  12. Be in contact with tour manager, and facility people for coordination of event
  13. Help run and set up sound system
  14. Know schedule and coordinate set up and tear down of demos
  15. Stock up booth and help vendors with supplies-bags, tape, markers, ect
  16. Care of horses in route (feed and water)
  17. Clean truck for display at events
  18. Coordinate reloading of truck with staff and volunteers
  19. Unload and load all registers, road computers, and credit card machines

IT Professional
Downunder Horsemanship is currently seeking an IT individual to join our team in Stephenville, TX. This position will allow someone to interact with a multi-channel company in many different areas.

Essential Functions:
-Provide governance and continuous improvement of IT Management processes across the organization
-Maintain all aspects of a small network that is dual platform, operating with Windows 2003 server
-Ensure effective purchase and renewal of hardware and software maintenance agreements
 -Identification and selection of appropriate hardware, software and other technologies
-Telecommunications
-Assist other senior level administrators with integrating IT into their strategic plans
-Maintain My SQL databases
-Build/repair Access databases
-Act as liaison with technical support for current POS system
-Maintain, upgrade and perform maintenance on desktops and printers
-Troubleshooting

Technical skills and abilities:
-Experience working with large data sets
-Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills
-Strong reporting skills
-Ability to interface with all levels of management
-Ability to balance several conflicting demands to achieve optimum services performance with minimum disruption to business operations
-Ability to be adaptable and flexible while responding to deadlines on assignments and workflow fluctuations
-Understanding of Software Licensing a plus

Qualifications:
The successful candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management or Information Technology. Advanced management degree is preferred. Must have 3+ years of proven progressive IT experience and superior written / verbal communication skills.

Graphic Designer/Web Coordinator
Downunder Horsemanship is currently seeking a talented individual to join our team as the graphic designer and web coordinator in our new Stephenville, TX location.

Our ideal candidate will have strong print knowledge and super creative graphic design abilities with a high level of web knowledge. 

Projects you will be working on include:

Catalog production-online and print
Advertising production
Postcard production
Web updates and new features
Compose email newsletters
Design of quarterly magazine, signs, tickets, ect.

You must have knowledge of:

Quark or InDesign
Photoshop
Illustrator
Dreamweaver

You need to be a detail oriented person who can capture the goals of a project, communicate with printers to get the best price, ensure accuracy of your finished product and take a project and run with it.

Rope Splicers and Halter Tiers
Seeking enthusiastic, detail orientated craftsman to work in a self motivated environment. This position consists of working with Clinton’s chosen high quality yachting rope in the production of halters and lead ropes. Must be accurate, have good hand dexterity, able to stand 8 hours a day, and an eye for detail. Piece work rate does apply.  

Benefits including 401(k) and company health insurance are available.

Applications must be received no later than June 30th. Interviews will be held in Stephenville, Texas. Hiring and start dates are targeted for later in July, early August.
